Ladies and gentlemen — it’s with great pleasure that I formally introduce the Anti-Racism Fight Club (ARFC).

Fight club? What?! Let me explain.

It’s obvious we’re in crisis due to race-relations plummeting to historic lows in America. This problem is going to get much worse unless we roll up our sleeves and get into the fight.

With that in mind, I’m leveraging my 15+ years of training and development expertise along with decades of being an Anti-Racist to create a 90-minute virtual course (60-minute training followed by a 30-minute live Q&A session) to mentor a few select allies-in-training in the fine art of anti-racism. When you’re done you’ll be equipped with actionable tools to handle the following:

👊🏾 Describe the often-overlooked nuances of systemic racism

👊🏾 Apply an effective strategy to raise anti-racist children

👊🏾 Create bulletproof comebacks for many common racist talking points (what about Black on Black crime, for example)

👊🏾 Identify the best strategies on how to deal with racism in-person and online

👊🏾 Apply a strategy on how to approach Black, Indigenous and People of Color (BIPOC) who don’t trust you as an ally-in-training

👊🏾 Identify the 10 best actions you should take as an ally-in-training to BIPOC

👊🏾 Identify the 10 things you should never do as an ally-in-training to BIPOC

Following the 60-minute training, there will be a 30-minute Q&A session where you can anonymously ask any question you’ve ever wanted addressed by a Black person, and I will answer them.

This is not simply a motivational speech. There will be a Fistbook (it’s a Fight Club…we don’t do “handbooks”) filled with valuable resources and accountability work to complete to build your anti-racism muscles. It may be extremely uncomfortable for some of you – but that’s the price of long-lasting behavioral change.

Speaking of pricing, entrance to the ARFC is not free (you didn’t expect me to do this for free, did you?) It’s $49 per person for group sessions. Corporations and conferences will be charged a flat fee. Be warned – there will be a lot of real talk, your feelings may be hurt, and a lot of what you’ve learned about racism will be challenged – but I promise that you’ll be a better ally-in-training when you’re done. Because as the popular saying goes, this isn’t a moment, it’s a movement.

Ready? Let’s fight. 👊🏾

NEW! ARFC for Adults – PHASE 2

The Beatdown: Fighting Against Racism in Our Schools, Our Workplaces, and in YOU

The much-anticipated sequel to ARFC Initiation is ready to roll! Now that participants know how to deal with interpersonal racism in-person and online, we have to take the fight to our schools and workplaces. Most importantly, you need to fight against your own internal biases and racism — which will easily be the hardest thing you’ll ever do as an anti-racist. When you’re done you’ll be equipped with actionable tools to handle the following:

👊🏾 Describe the key components of racism in schools and why they have existed for so long

👊🏾 Apply a strategy that parents and kids can take right now to eliminate subtle and overt racism in the classroom

👊🏾 Identify actions school administrators and teachers can take right now to eliminate subtle and overt racism in the classroom

👊🏾 Describe the key factors why BIPOC feel uncomfortable in the workplace

👊🏾 Create bulletproof comebacks for racial micro-aggressions in the workplace

👊🏾 Identify the employees who hold the key to eliminating racism in the workplace

👊🏾 Complete the “Most Uncomfortable Exercise Ever

Following the 60-minute training, there will be a 30-minute Q&A session, and as always — participants will receive a Fistbook that’s loaded with resources and data.

Only individuals who completed the first session will be allowed to participate in this course.

Anti-Racism Fight Club For Kids

This 60-minute course (40 minutes of content followed by 20 minutes of Q&A) is designed for kids between the ages of 5-12 and will teach them the nuances of racism in a way that is easy to understand and will empower them to be anti-racists in their own lives.  NOTE: Since the adult group sessions have “PG-13” content, teenagers can attend one of those as long as an adult is present. When your kiddos are done, they will be equipped to:

👊🏾 Describe the differences between prejudice and racism

👊🏾 Identify reasons why it is important to embrace the color of people and not be colorblind

👊🏾 Apply a strategy to dealing with racist family members or racist friends

👊🏾 Apply a strategy to be anti-racist in their homes, communities, and schools right now

You only need ONE REGISTRATION regardless of the amount of kids in your home who go through the workshop.
